Club Fees 2019-20

29 Jul 2019 by David Bentley

Cricket season is fast approaching, with 68 days until the Round 1 fixture on 5 October 2019 . As a result, lets talk about fees for the 2019-20 season.

The Committee has made a decision, in relation to fees, at its last meeting. This is as follows:

Option 1 :
Membership Fee: $100 up front ($50 for concession, being full time students or a State or Commonwealth Concession holder)
Match Fees: $20 per game (all players)

Option 2:
Pay Upfront for the Year and Save! – $450 (includes a ticket to the wind up at the end of the season) or $400 for concession.

Option 3:
Make contact with the either the President (Dave Bentley), Vice President (Steve Kemp) or Treasurer (Chris Chadwick) to discuss making alternative arrangements.

The Membership Fee of $100 ($50 for concession) is payable before Round 1. For newcomers to the club, the membership fee reduces by $5 each round, to a minimum of $50, and is payable within their first four games.

Paying the membership fee allows access to Club Facilities, voting rights at General and Annual General Meetings and allows you to be available for selection (see below relating to overdue fees).

The Club is taking a strong stance on late payment of fees, unless some sort of arrangement has been previously made. If your fees are overdue by one week, you will receive a warning. If you fees are overdue by more than one week, you will not be available for selection until all outstanding fees are paid. Fees will be tracked over the course of the year.

Fees are required to be paid via the TeamApp or direct to the Club’s Bendigo Bank account, before you play on the Saturday. Fees will be up on TeamApp shortly, to allow you to pay your membership fees and upfront yearly fee (if you so choose) before Round 1, 5 October 2019.

The committee understand that this is an increase in fees from last season. Every effort is made to keep fess as low as possible. However, there are many costs associated with putting teams on the park each week. The committee believe that this increase will be necessary to facilitate the number of teams we’re wishing to have represent the Kenwick Cricket Club in the 2019/20 season. Should you be concerned about the fees, or wish to obtain a better understanding of how these funds are spent, please contact one of the above mentioned committee members, who will be able to supply you with some further information.
