What’s more special than the ICC World Cup, even more special than another Perth Scorchers BBL win – well its KCC’s first junior cricket team in well over a decade and here they all are representing the Mighty Royals.

They have been playing the T20 Blast (for 7 and 8 year olds) over the summer of 2014-15. Their last game is this Friday 20 February 2015 at Sutherlands Park (where Gosnells District Cricket Club play) with a start time of 5.00pm and it finishes around 6.15pm.

We would like to invite all the Seniors to come down and support them in their last game as they have had a great season and hopefully it is the beginning of a new era for junior cricket at KCC and you will get to hear the club’s junior song!

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following people who have made it possible for KCC to once again have juniors:

· Taborda Contracting (Wayne and Carol) who are the major sponsor of the team. They provided the cricket equipment to allow the kids to train. For more information on Taborda Contracting, for all your traffic management needs, please visit www.taborda.com.au;

· Beckenham Primary School for providing the training facilities at no cost to the juniors – how good is that;

· Matty Arrowsmith and Elijah Gray for not only being sensational coaches, but wise mentors;

· Tash Gray and Sheree Simons, who are the T20 Co-ordinator and T20 Manager respectively. Tash and Sheree have undertaken the majority of the behind the scenes work to get the team up and running. We cannot thank you enough to give these kids the opportunity to play locally.

· And finally the kids themselves, who have played with outstanding sportsmanship and comradeship that does the Mighty Royals Cricket Club proud.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Come and support these guys, they would love to see a crowd!
